- Active Crossover
ACN400
- Analog crossover network with "transfer function G=1" without phase rotation. [Slope characteristic -12 dB/Oct]. 2-way, 3-way, 4-way, and 3D configurations are available.
- Circuit without phase rotation
- Resistance switching attenuator
- Doubly regulated power supplies
Features
- Circuit without phase rotation
- The -6dB/Oct is in phase, but you want to split with a steeper filter. However, if you increase the value to -12dB/Oct or higher, the phase does not match. Even if you reverse the polarity of the speakers or take time alignment, the phase does not match. The newly developed "MK Filter" eliminates phase rotation even at -12dB/Oct, freeing you from the difficulty of adjusting a multi-amp system.
Crossover frequencies that can be set
Low/Mid-low 63, 100, 200, 400, FLAT
Mid-low/Mid-high 400, 630, 1000, 2000
Mid-high/High 2000, 4000, 8000, FLAT
○ The slope of each filter is fixed at -12dB. It cannot be changed to other slopes.
○ Analog type, no time alignment function is provided.
Other Functions
2-way or 3-way: It can also be used by specifying FLAT.
3D System: 3D output + 3-way setting with 3D selection button
Attenuator: Resistor-switchable, adjustable from +0 to -30dB
Memory of settings: Up to 3 memory writes and recalls are possible.
- Resistance switching attenuator
- In a variable resistor with a structure in which the contacts slide over a resistive element, a point-contact diode is formed at the contact point. When an audio signal passes through this point, noise is generated and becomes the basis of distortion. The C3PR switches the resistor ladder and attenuates from 0 dB to -60 dB by a highly reliable relay with gold and platinum contacts in a crossbar-twin-construction.
- Doubly regulated power supplies
- A switching power supply that does not generate flux leakage and a fast-response dropper power supply are used to construct a highly stable power supply. A unique transformer placed in the signal path cuts noise and allows only the audio signal to pass through without adding anything extra. Both inputs and outputs are equipped with one XLR and one RCA each, and the use of transformers ensures perfectly balanced inputs and outputs.
